Job summary

Hudson is seeking a Solution Architect (AVEVA PI System) in Brisbane to lead design and implementation of the AVEVA PI System across water and wastewater assets. You will drive integration with enterprise data platforms and cloud services, and set governance for scalable, reliable operations.

The role requires strong communication skills and experience across IT and OT, with a hybrid work model combining 2 days remote and 3 days in-office. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing AVEVA PI System solutions.
• Strong knowledge of AF, Analyses, Event Frames and PI Vision.
• Experience integrating PI with enterprise data platforms and cloud services.
• Knowledge of OT, SCADA, telemetry and industrial control system architectures.

Responsibilities

Our client is a Queensland Government-owned organisation in the utilities sector, making a meaningful impact on communities and the environment. Through customer-focused service and operational excellence, it plays a critical role in supporting sustainable growth across the region. They are currently recruiting for a Solution Architect (AVEVA PI System) to start asap.

Background

Our client is undertaking the implementation of the AVEVA PI System to establish a modern operational data platform that enables the collection, management, visualisation, and analysis of real-time operational data across water and wastewater assets. The solution will provide a scalable foundation for operational monitoring, performance reporting, event management, compliance reporting, and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

• Extensive experience designing and implementing AVEVA PI System solutions.
• Strong understanding of PI Asset Framework (AF), Analyses, Event Frames, and PI Vision.
• Experience integrating PI System with enterprise data platforms and cloud services.
• Knowledge of OT, SCADA, telemetry, and industrial control system architectures.
• Experience developing architecture standards, integration strategies, and governance frameworks.
• Utility, water, wastewater experience highly regarded
