Job summary

Hudson is seeking an experienced IT Engineer – Applications to implement and support an operational data platform for water and wastewater infrastructure in Australia. The role focuses on configuring AVEVA PI System components, integrating data sources and delivering real-time analytics to monitor performance across OT and IT environments.

You will develop PI Vision dashboards and asset models, manage Data Archive, AF, and event frames, and ensure high availability, security and compliant

Qualifications

• Hands-on AVEVA PI System implementation and support.
• Strong knowledge of PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework and PI Vision.
• Experience with PI Analyses, Event Frames, Interfaces and Connectors.
• Understanding of SCADA, ICS and OT environments.
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting and system administration.
• Strong communication with technical and operational stakeholders.
• Experience in the water/wastewater/utilities sector is preferred.

Weare seeking an experienced IT Engineer – Applications with hands-on AVEVA PI System experience to support the implementation of an operational data platform within the utilities sector.
This role will focus on configuring, integrating and supporting a real-time data platform used to monitor and analyse operational performance across water and wastewater infrastructure.
Working across IT and Operational Technology (OT), you will collaborate with technical teams and operational stakeholders to deliver a reliable, scalable platform that supports monitoring, reporting and operational decision-making.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven hands-on experience implementing and supporting AVEVA PI System.
• Strong knowledge of PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework and PI Vision.
• Experience with PI Analyses, Event Frames, Interfaces and Connectors.
• Understanding of SCADA, Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and OT environments.
• Experience with application monitoring, troubleshooting and system administration.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and operational stakeholders.

Experience within the water, wastewater or broader utilities sector will be highly regarded.
