Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Solution Architect to partner with business and technology teams in delivering end-to-end solutions that support strategic objectives. You will lead architecture across cloud, data, and infrastructure domains, drive roadmaps, and mentor a global delivery team.

The role emphasizes collaboration with executives, pre-sales support, and adherence to security and governance standards in a hybrid work environment in Melbourne, Australia.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience in enterprise application architecture, microservices, APIs, integration platforms, and modern development frameworks.
• Strong understanding of security, performance, scalability, resilience, and operational excellence principles.
• Hands-on experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience managing stakeholder engagement at executive and senior leadership levels.
• Ability to lead distributed and cross-functional teams in global delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for large-scale digital transformation and enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions.
• Define architectural roadmaps, target-state architecture, and technology strategies.
• Collaborate with business leaders, delivery teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to drive solution excellence.
• Provide technical leadership across application, integration, cloud, data, and infrastructure domains.
• Review and approve solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation approaches.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and technology evaluations.
• Support pre-sales activities, solution estimations, RFP responses, and client presentations.
• Mentor architects, technical leads, and engineering teams on best practices and emerging technologies.

Remuneration for this role is structured in accordance with this award, with classification level and salary determined based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications.
