Job summary

Publicis Sapient is seeking an experienced architect to develop scalable, secure solutions for complex business challenges. You will create artefacts such as solution designs, system diagrams, data flows, and platform decisions, while aligning technical direction with client goals and delivery teams.

You will drive architectural patterns, define guardrails, and lead workshops with stakeholders to ensure architectural intent is understood and implemented by engineering squads.

• Bring consulting judgement to client conversations by balancing business outcomes, user experience, technical feasibility, delivery risk, cost, scalability and operational supportability.
• Proven experience across discovery, estimation, solution shaping and implementation, ensuring design intent is clearly understood by engineering teams and stakeholders

Your Impact

• Own the end-to-end solution approach across applications, services, integrations, data flows, APIs and cloud/platform components.
• Develop practical, delivery-oriented architecture that connects business objectives to engineering execution and measurable client outcomes.
• Define architectural patterns, technology choices, non-functional requirements, integration principles and technical guardrails.
• Facilitate design walkthroughs, technical workshops and architecture reviews with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
• Share solution options, recommendations, risks and trade-offs in a confident, structured and consultative manner.
• Identify technical risks early and work with teams to define mitigation plans, spikes, proofs of concept or architecture decision records where needed.

Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of technology delivery experience, with strong hands-on engineering foundations and proven experience operating in an architect or technical lead capacity.
• Demonstrated experience in solution design, architecture definition and technical design discussions for business-critical applications and digital platforms.
• Strong ability to produce architecture diagrams and design artefacts that explain system context, integrations, data movement, application components and deployment considerations.
• Experience working with modern application architectures including APIs, microservices or modular services, cloud-native platforms, front-end and back-end integration patterns, and enterprise system landscapes.
• Hands-on cloud exposure across AWS, Azure or GCP, including an understanding of cloud services, networking basics, security principles, CI/CD, infrastructure considerations and operational support models.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to present designs, lead workshops, manage questions and align technical and non-technical audiences.
• Client-facing consulting experience, including the ability to shape solutions, explain trade-offs, influence stakeholders and support commercial or delivery conversations.
