Qualifications

• Admission as solicitor in NSW with practising certificate or in the process of obtaining one.
• Experience in commercial litigation, property, construction or dispute resolution is advantageous.
• Strong communication and client engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with and managing commercial, property and construction disputes.
• Drafting pleadings, affidavits, correspondence, contracts and other legal documentation.
• Conducting legal research and preparing legal advice.
• Assisting with mediations, negotiations and court proceedings.
• Liaising directly with clients, barristers, experts and other stakeholders.
• Supporting senior lawyers on complex and high-value matters, litigation and dispute resolution strategies.
• Taking ownership of tasks and matters while working collaboratively with the broader team.

Your new role

You will work closely with experienced lawyers and gain hands-on exposure across the full lifecycle of matters, from initial client advice through to resolution. The role will suit someone who is curious, commercially minded and eager to build a broad legal skill set, with the opportunity to work across commercial, property, construction and disputes matters.

Key responsibilities include:

About You

• Admission as a solicitor in NSW and a current practising certificate, or in the process of obtaining one.
• Some experience in commercial litigation, property, construction or dispute resolution is advantageous.
• Strong academic ability and a genuine interest in developing your legal knowledge.
• Must have a hunger for learning and being agile across various areas of law.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with clients and stakeholders.
• A commercially minded approach and genuine interest in understanding clients and their businesses.
