Job summary

Gransolar Group in Australia is seeking an O&M Solar Tracker Technician for our Walla Walla Solar Farm. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tracker systems and support the O&M electricians on site.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting LoRa networks, Dboxes/Tboxes/Mboxes, downloading logs, analyzing alarms, and coordinating supplier actions. A mechanical background and machinery operation experience are required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background required.
• Experience operating machinery such as tractors and telehandlers.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Solar Tracker systems (3H and 2V).
• Troubleshoot communication devices (LoRa Network).
• Troubleshoot Dboxes, Tboxes, Mboxes.
• Download logs and analyze alarms; coordinate actions with tracker supplier.
• Replace spare parts and maintain tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures, including HSE.

Duties and Responsibilities

Solar Tracker Technicians will perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities and will support the O&M Electricians in site related tasks Perform Preventive Maintenance Activities on the Tracker System versions 3H and 2V.

Perform Troubleshooting in Communication Devices (LoRa Network)

Perform Troubleshooting in Dboxes, Tboxes, Mboxes

Download logs and records. Analysis of alarms

Communicate with Tracker System supplier to coordinate actions.

Replacement of spare parts.

Compliance with Site procedures. Especially regarding HSE.

Maintain tools and equipments.
