CabLab Pty Ltd is seeking two qualified Level 2 / Grade A Electricians for fixed-term contract roles supporting our solar panel testing and tagging program. You’ll work on-site at regional solar farms performing IVcurve testing, wet-leak testing, and compliance verification.

This position suits licensed electricians experienced in solar PV systems who can travel to regional sites and work night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 / Grade A Electrician licence (NSW / VIC preferred).
• Experience with solar PV systems is required.
• Strong understanding of DC electrical safety.

Responsibilities

• Connect power supplies to combiners/inverters on PV module strings.
• Verify electrical continuity and ensure IEC/Australian standards compliance.
• Conduct solar panel testing and tagging (IV curve and wet-leak testing).
• Support safe night-time operations at regional solar farm sites.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues during testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation of electrical work performed.
