Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install solar PV, BESS, hybrid and AC-coupled systems
• Complete AC/DC wiring, inverter installations and protection equipment
• Perform switchboard upgrades and backup-power configurations
• Test, commission and configure solar, battery and monitoring systems
• Diagnose faults and complete maintenance and rectification works
• Review designs, single-line diagrams and site requirements
• Complete customer handovers and system demonstrations
• Maintain installation and compliance documentation
• Supervise apprentices or installation team members where required

Our client is an established Australian renewable energy provider delivering residential solar PV and battery storage solutions across multiple states.

With continued demand for residential solar and energy storage, the business is expanding its installation capability and is looking for qualified electricians who are passionate about delivering safe, compliant and high-quality renewable energy installations.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering residential solar PV and battery installations across an allocated service region, managing jobs from site arrival through to testing, commissioning and customer handover.

Your Responsibilities

• Install solar PV, BESS, hybrid and AC-coupled systems
• Complete AC/DC wiring, inverter installations and protection equipment
• Perform switchboard upgrades and backup-power configurations
• Test, commission and configure solar, battery and monitoring systems
• Diagnose faults and complete maintenance and rectification works
• Review designs, single-line diagrams and site requirements
• Complete customer handovers and system demonstrations

What We’re Looking For

• Current unrestricted Australian electrical licence for the relevant state/territory
• Current Solar Accreditation Australia GCPV & GCBS accreditations
• Residential solar and battery installation experience highly regarded
• Strong electrical testing, commissioning and fault-finding skills
• Knowledge of relevant Australian electrical and renewable energy standards
• Current driver’s licence & Construction White Card
• Working at Heights, CPR and Low Voltage Rescue certifications
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance and quality workmanship
• Good customer communication and teamwork skills
