Job summary

Vena Energy Services (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking an Electrician to support daily operations and maintenance of renewable energy projects at the Wandoan site. The role involves on-site maintenance, safety-focused activities, and collaboration with a regional team.

FIFO from Brisbane or relocation support is available. Ideal candidates have a Year 12 background, an A Grade Electrical Licence, and at least 1 year of solar or industrial fault-finding experience.

Qualifications

• Year 12 schooling is required.
• Electrical Licence A Grade / Unrestricted.
• Valid Class C Manual Driver’s Licence.
• Minimum 1 year of experience on operational solar assets or in industrial/mining with fault-finding duties.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review maintenance documentation to ensure activities meet requirements.
• Assist with inspection documentation and plans for on‑site maintenance.
• Coordinate and perform HV/MV tasks as trained and competent.
• Monitor SCADA alarms and faults to drive actions and reduce downtime.
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on MV/HV assets and PV equipment.
• Assist with stock management, tools, and spares.
