Solarig Australia is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Solar O&M) to drive ongoing operations and maintenance for our utility-scale solar farms near Mudgee, NSW. This full-time role offers a safety-focused environment and solid career growth in the expanding solar sector.

Responsibilities include optimization of plant performance, grid code compliance, and lifecycle management of high-voltage assets. A Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and 1+ year of experience are required; MSAs and SCADA tools

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of full-time professional experience.
• Experience with utility-scale renewable assets or HV infrastructure.
• Proficiency in power systems analysis and SCADA tools.

Aufgaben

• Manage the O&M engineering framework for solar assets to ensure reliability.
• Monitor power quality and grid compliance with relevant standards.
• Oversee HV substations, central inverters, transformers, and protection systems.
• Investigate failures and perform RCA to mitigate asset risks.
• Update electrical drawings and documentation to AS/NZS standards.
• Develop preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.
