Job summary

Genesis Electrical & Solar Solutions is seeking a hands-on Solar Installer for residential projects in Jimboomba. The role starts on a casual basis with the potential for full-time employment after a successful probation period.

You will install solar panels, set out rails, run DC cabling, and assist with battery installations while collaborating with electricians to ensure high-quality installations. Applicants should be comfortable working at heights on diverse roof types, have a strong safety

Qualifications

• Confident working at heights on residential roofs.
• Takes pride in neat, high-quality work and precise panel layout.
• Understands correct panel layout, rail installation and cable management.
• Reliable, punctual and ready to work; works well in a team.
• Demonstrates a strong safety attitude and efficient work practices.
• Must hold a current Australian driver’s licence and a White Card.

This position will initially be offered on a casual basis, with full-time work available after a successful probation period for the right person. Your day-to-day work will primarily involve installing solar panels and mounting systems, measuring and setting out rail, working across a variety of roof types, running and securing DC cabling and conduit, assisting with battery installations, working alongside electricians to complete quality solar and battery installations, and maintaining a clean, organised and safe worksite.
