Job summary

Ausave Energy is hiring a lead solar installer to manage on-site installations across residential, commercial and agricultural projects in the Newcastle, Central Coast and Hunter regions.

You will install solar, batteries and smart energy systems, mentor apprentices and ensure work meets the highest quality and safety standards. A NSW electrical licence and SAA accreditation are essential.

Qualifications

• SAA accreditation (CEC) for grid-connect solar; battery endorsement valued.
• NSW electrical licence required and up-to-date.
• On-site safety tickets: Working at Heights, White Card, EWP.
• Valid driver's licence and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install solar, battery and smart energy systems for homes, businesses and farms.
• Commission batteries for VPP integration and connect to a shared grid.
• Work with premium solar hardware from Sigenergy, Jinko and AIKO.
• Lead your crew with safety and workmanship as the standard.
• Mentor apprentices and help them start a career in the industry.

Job description

At Ausave Energy, we believe the best energy comes from the sun and stays close to home. We're a premium, platinum-level energy solutions business, and we're helping our community move towards cleaner, more self-sufficient living. We design and install complete energy systems that bring together solar, batteries and smart technology. We also connect households to the GloBird and Amber virtual power plants (VPPs), where homes share their stored energy and help build a cleaner grid for everyone.

You'll work with homes, local businesses and farms throughout Newcastle, the Central Coast and the Hunter. You'll install platinum-quality machinery from Sigenergy, Jinko and AIKO, and help people harvest the sunshine that falls on their own roofs and paddocks. You'll lead a crew, set the standard on site and nurture our apprentices as they grow. Our in-house scheduling and design team plans every job properly before you arrive.
