Job summary

Ausave Energy is hiring for a hands-on solar installer leader to design and install solar, battery and smart energy systems for homes, businesses and farms around Newcastle, the Central Coast and the Hunter. You will lead a crew, set on-site standards and mentor apprentices as they grow in the industry.

We value SAA accreditation, NSW electrical licence and tickets like Working at Heights, White Card and EWP.

• SAA (formerly CEC) accreditation for grid-connect solar, with battery endorsement highly regarded
• NSW electrical licence

Job description

We design and install complete energy systems that bring together solar, batteries and smart technology. We also connect households to the GloBird and Amber virtual power plants (VPPs), where homes share their stored energy and help build a cleaner grid for everyone.

You'll work with homes, local businesses and farms throughout Newcastle, the Central Coast and the Hunter. You'll install platinum-quality machinery from Sigenergy, Jinko and AIKO, and help people harvest the sunshine that falls on their own roofs and paddocks. You'll lead a crew, set the standard on site and nurture our apprentices as they grow. Our in-house scheduling and design team plans every job properly before you arrive.
