Job summary

Split Solar Electrical Services in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a full-time Solar Electrical Apprentice (1st, 2nd and 3rd year) to grow skills alongside experienced electricians.

You will assist with PV system installation, maintenance and repair, and receive structured mentorship while you learn about solar energy solutions and battery storage.

Qualifications

• Currently undertaking an electrical apprenticeship.
• Strong interest in renewable energy technologies, particularly solar.
• Some solar exposure or relevant experience preferred.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in solar electrical industry.
• Australian citizen.
• Must have a driver’s license and own vehicle.
• White card and working at heights ticket.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance and repair of solar PV systems and electrical infrastructure.
• Undertake wiring, panel mounting, inverter installation and system testing under supervision.

This full-time Solar Electrical Apprentice 1st, 2nd and 3rd year role at Split Solar Electrical Services' in Sydney offers a fantastic opportunity to further develop your skills and expertise in the electrical trades and services industry, with a focus on solar energy solutions.

• Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and associated electrical infrastructure
• Undertake tasks such as wiring, panel mounting, inverter installation and system testing under the supervision of experienced electricians
• Participate in ongoing training to expand your technical knowledge and skills in solar electrical systems
• Work closely with the team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards
