Job summary
SAA Solar is seeking an experienced Team Leader to manage solar and battery installation crews in Caringbah and the Sydney region. You’ll lead jobs from load-out to commissioning, ensure compliance and quality, and mentor electricians and apprentices.
Eligibility includes an unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence and current SAA accreditation, with solar and battery installation experience; a valid driver’s licence is also required. Competitive hourly rates and vehicle allocations are offered.
Qualifications
- Unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence.
- Current SAA accreditation.
- Solar installation experience.
- Battery installation experience.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Strong understanding of electrical and solar compliance.
- Excellent workmanship and safety standards.
- Good communication and crew leadership ability.
Responsibilities
- Lead solar and battery installation crews on site.
- Take ownership from warehouse load-out to commissioning.
- Perform residential and commercial solar PV installations.
- Oversee battery installations and switchboard works.
- Manage testing, commissioning, fault finding and quality.
- Mentor electricians and apprentices; ensure SWMS compliance.
- Maintain on-site documentation and customer communication.
