Job summary

FMG Engineering is expanding its Melbourne Laboratory team in Williamstown and seeks Construction Materials Testing Technicians. Full-time or casual roles with competitive hourly rates and ongoing training opportunities are available.

Ideal candidates will have experience in construction materials testing, a current full driver's license, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Radiation Use License and Portable Nuclear Density Gauge experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction materials testing and laboratory testing environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work both independently and with a team.
• Physical fitness for field sampling and material handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction materials testing in laboratory and field environments.
• Operate and maintain laboratory and testing equipment in accordance with standards.
• Assist with sample collection, preparation, and testing documentation.
