Job summary

Hanwha Defence Australia is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to develop test strategies and automation for complex distributed environments. You will collaborate with software developers, integrators and stakeholders to validate systems throughout the lifecycle.

The role includes configuring Linux-based environments, building automation with Python and Ansible, containerised setups with Docker/Podman, and supporting DDS middleware integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related field.
• Industry certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Integrate software components into larger environments.
• Configure Linux integration environments for testing.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts with Python and Ansible.
• Build and maintain containerised environments with Docker and Podman.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and support DDS middleware.
• Analyze network configurations and security requirements.
• Create deployment procedures and integration documentation.
