Job summary

Leidos Australia seeks an experienced API & Integration Test Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated test solutions for healthcare and enterprise applications. You will build robust API and integration testing frameworks, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, and validate interoperability platforms.

The role focuses on REST/SOAP, data validation and security testing within an Agile environment, collaborating with engineers and solution architects to ensure testability

Qualifications

• Design and develop automated API/integration testing frameworks.
• Validate APIs with REST/HTTP, JSON/XML and contract testing.
• Implement automated testing within CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar).
• Analyze logs, troubleshoot integration issues and ensure testability in designs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated API/integration tests.
• Support REST, SOAP and event-driven integration patterns.
• Integrate testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to embed testing early.
• Investigate failures, produce metrics and drive improvements in practices.
