Qualifications

• Strong experience working with legacy enterprise applications.

What’s the role?

Join the team delivering BizEdge, Westpac's next-generation Business Lending origination platform. BizEdge is transforming the way business lending is delivered, consolidating multiple legacy systems into a single platform for bankers, brokers and customers.

As a Software Engineering Specialist, you will work within a highly complex legacy application environment, enhancing, integrating and modernising critical lending systems. You'll play a key role in the BizEdge Integration Project, enabling seamless connectivity between BizEdge and Target Lending Applications (TLA) to automate lending workflows and improve customer and employee experiences.

Working alongside experienced engineers, architects and delivery teams, you'll contribute to the design, development and support of solutions that are critical to Westpac's Business Lending technology landscape.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Sydney, with a hybrid working model that combines time in the office with flexibility to work from home.

What do I need?

We're looking for a technically capable engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, takes ownership of outcomes and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
