Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team and help build the next generation of healthcare applications. You will work on mission-critical systems that directly impact patient care and healthcare provider workflows. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while working with modern technologies in a collaborative, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and TypeScript
• Build robust backend services and APIs using Node.js
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to build robust backend services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment
• Integrate and optimize Firebase services for real-time data management
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions
• Ensure application performance, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and healthcare professionals to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in React.js and TypeScript for frontend development
• Solid experience with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Hosting)
• Proficient in Node.js for backend development
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and version control (Git)
• Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)

Nice to Have

• SQL database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
• Experience with MongoDB
• Cloud platform experience with GCP or AWS, including DevOps practices
• GitHub Actions experience for CI/CD pipeline management
• Experience with healthcare technology, Health standards compliance, or regulated industries
• Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks and state management libraries
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
