Job summary

ACER seeks a Software Engineer (Level 2) to contribute to a range of software development projects, including web apps and desktop applications. You will report to the Lead Software Engineer and help maintain legacy code across PHP, Java, and C#.

The role includes data management, testing, and collaboration with clients during development and handover. Responsibilities include contributing to documentation, improving engineering processes, and ensuring high quality work within ACER's IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software development projects and tasks as allocated.
• Assist in maintaining ACER's code-base (PHP, Java, C#).
• Contribute to internal documentation and test plans.
• Participate in data management, integration and planning.
• Investigate and test software implementations.
• Maintain high engineering standards per ACER policies.
• Attend client meetings and assist in handover/project implementation.
• Participate in installation and upgrades per licensing and IT guidance.
• Undertake other duties as a team member of IT.
