Lakefield Information Pty Ltd, an Adelaide-based technology company, is seeking an experienced software engineer to translate business and user requirements into reliable, high-quality software solutions across the full software lifecycle.

You will contribute to full-stack web and mobile development, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance throughout deployment and maintenance, collaborating with designers and stakeholders to deliver projects.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum five years of professional software development experience.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse business and user requirements and translate them into software designs, technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Design, develop, modify and maintain full-stack web and mobile software applications in accordance with functional requirements and technical specifications.
• Write, review and maintain program code to deliver reliable, scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Design and integrate application components and interfaces to support communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Conduct software testing, debugging and fault diagnosis, identify technical issues and implement appropriate corrective measures.
• Implement and support software applications, including deployment, installation, upgrades and ongoing maintenance.
• Identify performance limitations and deficiencies in existing applications and recommend and implement improvements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, software specifications, system designs and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with developers, designers and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve technical problems and deliver software projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support for software implementation, application maintenance and troubleshooting.

About the role

In this role, you will work across the software development lifecycle, translating business and user requirements into reliable, maintainable and high-quality software solutions. You will contribute to full-stack web and mobile application development, troubleshoot technical issues, improve existing applications and provide technical support throughout the software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

Analyse business and user requirements and translate them into software designs, technical specifications and implementation plans.

Design, develop, modify and maintain full-stack web and mobile software applications in accordance with functional requirements and technical specifications.

Write, review and maintain program code to deliver reliable, scalable and maintainable software solutions.

Design and integrate application components and interfaces to support communication between front-end and back-end systems.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.

At least five years of relevant professional experience in software engineering or software development.

Strong full stack experience.

Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, testing, debugging and maintaining software applications.

Ability to analyse technical requirements, develop appropriate software solutions and resolve complex technical problems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a software development team.
