Job summary

Epsilon is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the design and development of its software systems within a squad, collaborating with product, testing and design to deliver scalable, customer-focused solutions.

You will work across the stack, with opportunities to deepen DevOps experience, including infrastructure as code, containers and deployment tooling, while building robust backend services for production use.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Strong fundamentals in API, DB, and system design.
• Experience with cloud environments and microservices.
• CI/CD pipelines and SDLC experience.
• Unit and integration testing experience.
• DevOps practices including IaC and Docker.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical solution design within your squad.
• Deliver high-quality, customer-focused software from concept to working solution.
• Write and review code, design docs, and technical documentation.
• Apply engineering standards and patterns in your work.
• Improve system reliability, scalability and operational excellence.
• Use DevOps experience to maintain infrastructure, tooling and deployments.
• Participate in code reviews, standups, planning and retrospectives.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues across code and tooling.
