Job summary

Vision Overseas Group is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Melbourne-based team. You will create, test, maintain, and document program code in line with user requirements and system specifications within a fast-paced environment.

You will analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, develop documentation, and contribute to software design decisions. A Bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant experience are required, with focus on reliable, secure software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, test, maintain and document program code per user requirements and system specifications.
• Identify requirements of system programs and advise on feasible solutions.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and rectify errors in application programming languages following testing protocols and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for programs, end-users and procedures.
• Support software design decisions with insights, cost analyses and deployment considerations.
• Oversee testing and automation processes for software deployments.
• Gather operational metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
