Job summary

Saab Australia is expanding its software engineering team in Melbourne. We invite mid-level and senior engineers to contribute to mission-critical software for naval/ICT projects within a defence environment.

As part of the Systems Delivery Group, you will design, develop, test and deploy software across the lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining high-quality solutions while adapting to evolving technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field; defence experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance – NV1 and access ITAR information.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience in Java, C++, or C#.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and maintenance across the full software development lifecycle.
• Design, implement, integrate, test and deploy software components.
• Review code and provide technical guidance to teammates.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers and Stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and support software releases.
