Job summary
Thales is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop and integrate complex software for air traffic management systems from the Melbourne office. You will contribute to architecture, support requirements, testing and verification, and work within Agile/DevSecOps practices.
The role requires a degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, commercial Java experience, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. Hybrid/On-site options may apply in Melbourne.
Qualifications
- As a Software Engineer, design, develop and integrate complex software solutions.
- Experience with Java and full software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or SAFe delivery methodologies.
- Experience with version control and build/CI tools (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Gradle).
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
