Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a proactive and self-motivated Software Engineer to join our Joint Systems Capability team in Brisbane. In this role, you will contribute to the enhancement and sustainment of the Wakulda Air Battle Management System, a critical capability for Australian Defence.
Working within a high-performing engineering environment, you will collaborate with engineers to develop, integrate, test and verify software solutions. This role is designed for an early-career engineer who excels at delivering quality outcomes in a highly complex technical environment.
This role supports an environment that has security considerations and is both Windows and Linux based, so virtualisation and networking knowledge would be advantageous. Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements. Holding an existing NV1 or Baseline clearance level would be highly beneficial, along with any experience in Ratheon‑Solipsys MSCT product.
