Job summary

Dovida is seeking a Software Engineer in Australia to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that support our strategic and operational goals. You will work with local and international teams, delivering high-quality systems, APIs and integrations that enhance services and operational efficiency.

The role offers flexible hybrid working with up to 2 days work-from-home, plus wellness, volunteering and study leave to support growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with Git, CI/CD systems, and building scalable, integrated software solutions.
• Experience with databases and cloud technologies (SQL Server, MariaDB/MySQL or PostgreSQL) and any Azure or AWS services.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with international teams and stakeholders.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, testing and deployment of complex software systems, applications and APIs, ensuring high-quality, scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Design and implement integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms, enabling seamless data flow and supporting business-critical processes.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions and deliver outcomes that align with organisational objectives.
• Contribute to the organisation's long-term technology strategy by identifying opportunities for innovation, modernisation and continuous improvement across systems and platforms.
