Job summary

BlueScope, a global steel solutions leader, seeks a Software Developer to advance ENDUROCADD CAD/BIM on Windows in Mount Waverley, VIC.

You’ll design, build, and maintain software powering light-gauge steel construction, collaborating across teams to deliver reliable, user-friendly tools.

Applicants should have a CS/SE degree and experience in C# or C++ with CAD software, and a passion for practical, impactful engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/SE or related field.
• Strong programming skills in C# and C++.
• Experience with CAD/BIM software programming.
• Familiarity with OpenGL/Direct3D.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain software in C#, C++, and OpenGL for CAD/BIM workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate requirements into robust features.
• Ensure code quality through testing and reviews.
• Support end users and document software features.
• Contribute to platform evolution of ENDUROCADD CAD/BIM tool.
