Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements, develop application code, test software and troubleshoot programming issues.
• Experience with designing, developing, testing and maintaining web/mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and technical requirements to understand what the software needs to achieve.
• Design, develop and update software applications using suitable programming languages and development tools.
• Build and maintain websites, web applications, mobile applications and customised software solutions.
• Create and improve application features for cross-device compatibility.
• Develop and maintain databases, APIs and connections between software systems and third-party services.
• Carry out software testing to identify errors, bugs and performance problems and fix them.
• Maintain existing software by updating code and introducing improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation and development records for maintenance.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers and designers to align requirements.
• Provide post-deployment support and resolve system-related issues.
