Job summary

Nixil Pty is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop and maintain applications within a secure ICT environment in Canberra. Experience with Python, PySpark and/or Java is preferred.

You will translate requirements into practical software solutions and contribute to code reviews and releases. Key responsibilities include developing application components, APIs and databases, writing automated tests and investigating defects.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining software applications.
• Experience with Python and/or Java; transferable development skills.
• PySpark experience desirable for data processing.
• Knowledge of SQL, APIs, Git and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of secure coding and Agile delivery.
