Job summary

Healthscope Hospitals is seeking an enthusiastic Social Worker to join the Allied Health team at Prince of Wales Private Hospital in Randwick, Sydney. The role is permanent part-time (12 hours per week over 3 days) and offers a varied caseload across general medical, ICU, cardiac, maternity and oncology services.

Join a supportive multidisciplinary team and contribute to both inpatient and outpatient care while advancing your professional development within a leading private hospital network.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Social Work and eligibility with the AASW.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in adult acute inpatient hospital settings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.

Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Allied Health team on a permanent part-time basis 12 hours per week over 3 days (4 hours per day). Our hospital offers a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multidisciplinary teams servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs. This role provides the opportunity to experience a varied caseload across areas including general medical, ICU, cardiac, maternity and oncology.

As a Social Worker your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing a high standard of clinical care
