Job summary

Cornerstone Medical Recruitment – Southport QLD is seeking experienced mental health social workers for multiple flexible locum contracts across Queensland. The casual/temporary role supports a multi-disciplinary service with travel and accommodation covered.

Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will conduct triage, assessments, risk assessments and safety planning, and deliver short-term case management. cmr offers onboarding and placement support across diverse regional settings.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Social Work.
• Eligibility for membership with the AASW.
• Experience in mental health clinical or community settings.
• Strong assessment and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct triage, comprehensive assessments, risk assessment, and safety planning.
• Deliver short-term case management and assertive outreach.
• Provide brief psychoeducation and therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate in care planning and discharge with internal and external stakeholders.
• Practice in accordance with Trauma-Informed Care and Recovery principles.
