Job summary

Lendlease is recruiting for a Workforce Development and Industry Participation Manager to join our NSW team on major projects in Sydney. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of social procurement frameworks, Building Equality policies and Local Jobs First outcomes, driving workforce participation and training programs across projects.

You will engage with engineers, commercial teams, subcontractors and suppliers, report on monthly metrics, and build strong relationships to ensure successful

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within construction is essential.
• Experience on major construction projects with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Experience with Victorian Government Policy objectives in construction is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Engage with project engineers, commercial team, subcontractors and suppliers to realise workforce participation and social procurement opportunities.
• Build close working relationships with the existing project team to support delivery.
• Oversee government policy reporting with timely, accurate monthly subcontractor reports.
• Generate monthly client and internal reports on progress and outcomes.
• Provide training, support and guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
• Capture lessons learned and develop case studies to share knowledge across the function.
• Plan and deliver activities aligned with the Elevate Reconciliation Action Plan to promote First Nations participation.
