Job summary

Navitas Careers & Industry is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to drive content creation and daily posting across our education brands. You’ll manage schedules, engage online communities, and maintain brand consistency while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver innovative campaigns.

The role offers a dynamic, creative environment with opportunities to grow digital expertise, support events, and contribute to Navitas’ global education brands.

Qualifications

  • Experience in social media roles and managing online communities.
  • Camera confidence for filming short-form content and editing for social platforms.
  • Ability to create engaging captions and copy for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and other platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple brand voices and content calendars.
  • Growth mindset with ability to boost engagement and community size.
  • Strong writing skills for captions and blog content.
  • Collaborative mindset to work with marketing teams and wider community.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Are you a creative social media enthusiast ready to shape brand narratives across leading educational institutions? At Navitas Careers & Industry division, we’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator to support our digital presence across globally recognised education brands including:

  • SAE University College
  • ACAP University College
  • Navitas Skilled Futures
  • Charles Sturt University - Sydney and Melbourne.

About the Role:

In this dynamic role, you’ll create engaging content, manage daily posting schedules, and build vibrant online communities across multiple social media platforms. You’ll play a crucial part in maintaining brand consistency and social strategies, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. What You’ll Do:

  • Create compelling multimedia content across multiple educational brands, including filming, editing, and designing content.
  • Writing engaging captions/copy for posts and keyword-based SEO.
  • Manage content calendars and scheduling to maintain a consistent brand presence.
  • Build and nurture online communities through active engagement, responding to comments and messages, and fostering meaningful interactions.
  • Track performance metrics using analytics tools such as AgencyAnalytics, providing insights to inform future strategies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure content aligns with brand goals and resonates with target audiences.
  • Support event coverage by capturing and sharing real-time content that highlights campus activities and brand values.

  • Social Media Obsession: You don't just use social platforms – you understand their algorithms, trends, and unique languages.
  • Camera Confidence: Comfortable talking on camera, filming engaging content, and editing for TikTok to create dynamic and authentic brand stories.
  • Content Creator Confidence: Comfortable stepping in front of the camera, directing others, and producing engaging content that showcases campus life.
  • Multi-Platform Mastery: Skilled at crafting tailored content for Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more that resonates with different audiences.
  • Detail-Oriented Juggler: Able to manage multiple brand voices while maintaining each one's unique identity and content calendar.
  • Growth Mindset: Proven ability to build communities and boost engagement metrics (highly favoured but not essential).
  • Wordsmith Skills: Capable of crafting captions that stop the scroll and blog content that keeps readers engaged.
  • Team-Player Energy: Collaborative spirit to work seamlessly with our Marketing team and the wider community.
