Responsibilities
  • Collaborative Course Design
    Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to co-create inclusive, engaging, and accessible course content across all delivery modes.
  • Curriculum and Standards Alignment
    Ensure alignment of learning outcomes, activities, and assessments with AQF levels, institutional frameworks, and national standards.
  • Learning Experience Development
    Build modular course structures and interactive learning assets using educational technologies and design tools.
  • Pedagogical Consistency and Innovation
    Apply design frameworks and educational research to support consistent, evidence-based, and innovative teaching practices.
  • Technology and Compliance
    Use LMS and edtech tools to deliver content that meets accessibility, copyright, and quality standards.
  • Assessment Design
    Partner with academic staff to design authentic, scaffolded, and integrity-focused assessments aligned to learning outcomes.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Postgraduate Degree in learning design, education technology, or a related discipline. Experience designing and developing curriculum in higher education.
  • Experience with online and blended learning pedagogies.
  • Skills in using and developing in LMS platforms (preferably Moodle).
  • Ability to work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), educators, and compliance teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for instructional writing and stakeholder engagement
  • Skill in evaluating learning effectiveness using data and learner feedback
  • Adaptability to evolving technologies and pedagogical trends
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working in a course innovation team
  • Familiarity with learning analytics, micro-credentials, or competency-based design
  • Multimedia production skills (video editing, graphic design, etc.)
