Job summary

Outlook Australia is seeking an accomplished Manager to lead a geographically dispersed Queensland portfolio, reporting to a senior executive. The role involves substantial weekly travel within Queensland, overseeing contracts, assets, safety and compliance across transfer stations and reuse shops.

You will coach managers, drive financial performance, build stakeholder relationships and identify new business opportunities to support growth, while fostering a safe and inclusive workplace for 100+

Qualifications

• Experience leading managers and developing inclusive, high-performing teams.
• Leadership across complex, geographically dispersed operations.
• Strong commercial judgement with a track record of improving financial and operational performance.
• Business development and proactive stakeholder relationship building.
• High EQ and resilience to lead a diverse workforce.
• Current Queensland driver’s licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop Contract Managers and emerging leaders.
• Lead a multi-site Queensland operation with consistent standards.
• Own financial performance, budgets, safety, contracts, assets and operational risk.
• Build trusted relationships with local councils, government bodies and partners.
• Identify new business opportunities to support portfolio growth and diversification.
• Oversee site transitions, improvements and new sites.
• Embed safety, quality and customer service across 100+ employees.
• Align Queensland with the National organisation and growth opportunities.
• Support personal growth and development of each employee.
