Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Security Operations Analyst (AI Training) to help shape how AI understands and responds to cybersecurity threats. You will work remotely on an hourly contract, dedicating 10–40 hours per week, and contribute to real-world SOC scenarios with AI-enhanced tooling.

You will triage alerts, investigate incidents, and provide structured feedback to improve AI detection and response capabilities, collaborating with top security and AI researchers on frontier systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in SOC, incident response or security operations.
• Experience with SIEM, alert triage and threat hunting workflows.
• Ability to distinguish true threats from noise and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SOC scenarios and evaluate AI responses to alerts and incidents.
• Classify severities, identify root causes, and suggest responses.
• Review detection logic and workflows for real-world relevance.
• Validate AI outputs against experienced analyst thinking.
• Provide expert feedback to help AI models reason about threats.
