Job summary

Alignerr is partnering with leading AI labs to advance cloud security for AI training. We seek practitioners who understand how cloud environments fail in production and can reason about blast radius and risk.

The Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training) role is remote, hourly, and flexible, with 10–40 hours per week. You will review IAM, network, storage, and container security across AWS, GCP, and Azure, shaping how AI reasons about security.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on production cloud experience.
• Solid familiarity with IAM, networking, storage, and container security.
• Experience with real-world misconfigurations or incidents.
• Ability to reason about blast radius and business impact.
• Independent, async, self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure for risks.
• Review IAM policies, network configs, storage permissions, and container security.
• Classify gaps and misconfigurations by business impact.
• Validate AI-generated security reasoning against real incidents.
• Provide expert feedback to improve AI security intuition.
