Job summary

Mane Consulting is seeking a Senior Middle Office/Investment Support Analyst for an initial 6‑month contract in Sydney. The role focuses on trade management, margin review, corporate actions, and cross‑functional reporting with prime brokers and front office.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting/finance, 5+ years in asset management or financial services, and strong OMS/PMS proficiency (Bloomberg AIMs, Charles River).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in asset management, funds or financial services.
• Understanding of investment markets and equities/swaps instruments.
• Proficiency with OMS/PMS systems such as Bloomberg AIMs and Charles River.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Trade management: review and resolve trade breaks with counterparties/prime brokers and internal front office.
• Review margin positions across prime brokerage accounts.
• Control and process corporate action notices with prime brokers/custodians.
• Prepare fund payments with external stakeholders.
• Contribute to projects and BAU process improvements.
• Coordinate with external providers for accurate, timely reporting.
• Collaborate with Front Office & Fund Managers to monitor pre/post-trade limits using OMS-PMS.
• Perform daily position and cash reconciliations; investigate reconciliation breaks.
• Oversee CTF/AML/KYC compliance reporting.

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Middle Office/Investment Support Analyst with a Boutique Investment Manager on an initial 6 Month Contract.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Trade Management: Review and resolution of trade breaks while collaborating with counter-parties/prime brokers and internal front office
• Review of margin positions across prime brokerage accounts
• Control and processing of corporate action notices in conjunction with prime brokers/custodians
• Preparation of fund payments in co-ordination with external stakeholders
• Pro‑active contributor in projects and BAU process improvement
• Work closely with external providers to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Collaborate with Front Office & Fund Managers to monitor pre-trade and post-trade compliance limits using the OMS-PMS
• Perform daily position and cash reconciliations. Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and identify root causes.
• Oversight of CTF/AML/KYC compliance reporting

ABOUT YOU

• Degree qualified in accounting, finance, business or a related field.
• 5 years + of relevant experience within asset management, funds or financial services preferred.
