Job summary

Talent International is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to develop scalable data solutions and AI-powered analytics capabilities. This role focuses on hands-on Snowflake engineering with Cortex AI and GenAI, designing and building data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data models and semantics to enable intelligent analytics.

Experience in banking or financial services is highly regarded and you will collaborate with business and technology

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant data engineering experience.
• Experience delivering at least two Snowflake implementation projects, including Cortex AI or GenAI.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL and Python.
• Proven experience designing and optimising ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
• Practical experience developing AI-powered solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI.
• Understanding of agentic AI workflows and Generative AI applications.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata, lineage and security best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern software engineering practices.
• Previous banking, financial services or regulated industry experience will be highly regarded.
