Job summary

Silverlink Technologies is seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable, secure cloud data solutions using Snowflake. You will shape end-to-end data architecture, modelling strategies, and modern ETL/ELT pipelines to support business decisions.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders, optimize performance and costs, enforce RBAC and masking policies, and ensure data governance, quality, and lineage.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing Snowflake-based data architectures.
• Strong modelling skills across conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Proven ability to design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and modern cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data architecture using Snowflake.
• Develop scalable data warehouses, data lakes, and modern cloud data platforms.
• Define data modelling strategies, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
• Implement Snowflake features such as virtual warehouses, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, and Snowpipe.
• Optimize query performance, warehouse utilization, and overall platform costs.
• Design secure data access models using RBAC, masking policies, row-level security, and data encryption.
• Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Work with tools such as Informatica, Matillion, dbt, Fivetran, or other data integration platforms.
• Establish data governance, data quality, metadata management, and data lineage standards.
• Define best practices for data migration, disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, data analysts, and development teams.
• Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentoring to engineering teams.
