Job summary

Kelly+Partners is recruiting an ambitious accountant with SMSF experience or a strong desire to specialise in SMSF. This role offers hands-on learning and long-term career development within a supportive, high-performing team close to home.

You will work on SMSF financial statements, annual returns, tax reconciliations, and client liaison, with ongoing training and postgraduate support. Degree-qualified, CA near completion, and MYOB/Excel proficiency are expected; Class Super/HowNow a bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a chartered accounting practice with SMSF exposure or strong interest.
• Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
• Degree qualified; CA/CPA near completion or completed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SMSF financial statements and annual returns.
• Perform tax reconciliations and investment balance reconciliations.
• Assist with pension liabilities and BAS/IAS statements as required.
• Prepare workpapers, audit packages, and liaise with external auditors.
• Engage with clients and supporting authorities as needed.
• Ensure timely delivery within budget and deadlines.
