Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced SMP/Rigging Supervisor to join our PNG Operations team on a 6 month contract, based in PNG on a 4:2 roster. Reporting to the Site Manager, the role will plan, coordinate and supervise daily activities of work crews to meet HSE, quality and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervisory experience in oil and gas or mining, with strong leadership, communication and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Reporting to the Site Manager, this position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising daily activities of work crews; ensuring compliance with internal, client, and legislative HSE requirements; and ensuring that the quality, production, and environmental requirements of the project are met.

What you will bring:

• 5+ years' supervisory experience working in oil and gas or mining sectors
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a national workforce in the field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management skills and demonstrable experience achieving tight deadlines
• Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment
• Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport
• Experience working in PNG or remote locations (highly regarded)
