You will repair, maintain, and service small engines used in garden equipment, lawn mowers, chainsaws, and other power tools, ensuring reliable performance for our customers.

The role requires a recognised qualification in small engine mechanics or automotive trades, with 2+ years hands-on workshop experience.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in small engine mechanics or automotive trades.
• 2+ years hands-on workshop experience.
• Strong knowledge of two-stroke and four-stroke engines.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform routine maintenance on small engines.
• Repair and rebuild engines including carburettors and ignition systems.
• Test and quality-check repaired equipment before dispatch.
• Maintain accurate job records of parts and labour hours.
• Keep workshop tools and equipment in good order.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean workshop.
• Communicate repair timelines and costs to customers.
• Stay updated with current small-engine repair techniques.
