Job summary

Transport for NSW invites applications for a permanent, full-time Engineering role based in Wollongong, NSW. You will develop and deliver slope and structural programs, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safety, reliability and value for money across a diverse portfolio.

You will lead investigations, manage briefs and cost estimates, and provide expert technical advice on slope infrastructure.

Qualifications

Four-year Civil or Structural Engineering degree from an Australian university, or equivalent under the Washington Accord.
Alternatively, a Physical Geography, Geology or Geoscience degree with relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and delivery of slope and structural projects and programs within scope, quality, cost and time objectives.
Manage investigations, briefs, cost estimates and external providers to support informed decisions.
Monitor programs to optimise resources, manage risks and deliver value for money.
Provide expert technical advice on slope asset management and infrastructure projects to stakeholders.
Build relationships with delivery partners, contractors and internal teams to ensure safe and successful project delivery.
