Job summary

Snooze Rutherford in Queensland is seeking a full-time Sales Consultant to welcome customers, understand their sleep needs and provide friendly, personalised service. You will join a team that values strong communication and a hands-on approach to merchandising and store operations.

The role involves rotating weekends and public holidays, stock handling, and learning product knowledge. Prior retail or furniture experience is preferred but not essential; a clean Police Check is required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential.
• Must be able to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and adapt quickly.
• Ability to work a roaster with regular weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs, providing exceptional service.
• Build rapport with customers in a genuine way.
• Collaborate with the team in store operations – merchandising, lifting stock, keeping the store clean, learning, operating computers, and walking the floor.
