DNA Healthcare Recruitment is partnering with a busy skin surgery clinic in Ballina to recruit a Skin GP. You will manage a patient base, conduct full-body skin checks, and perform biopsies or minor excisions. The clinic supports ongoing skin procedures and a busy patient waitlist.

The role offers exposure to advanced skin surgery in a well-equipped clinic, with flexible scheduling of 1–2 days per week and strong demand as summer approaches.

Located in Ballina we are currently working with a busy and well-established skin surgery that is seeking a Skin GP to join their team and manage their patient base.

Job Description:

• Conducting Skin Checks: Performing full-body or focused skin examinations using a handheld magnification tool to spot new, changing, or unusual lesions.
• Performing Biopsies & Surgeries: Taking tissue samples for biopsies and performing minor surgical excisions for skin cancers and suspicious moles.
• Non-Surgical Treatments: Administering treatments like cryotherapy (freezing lesions with liquid nitrogen), topical chemotherapy creams, or photodynamic therapy.
• Patient Education: Advising patients on sun protection, self-monitoring, and managing long-term skin health.
• Referrals & Monitoring: Photographing and monitoring borderline moles over time, or referring complex cases to specialist dermatologists or surgeons.

About the Role / Clinic:

• Average skin doctors bill around $400-$500 per hour
• Skin cancer standard consult pricings start at $135 and increase depending on the length of the appointment

• Procedure prices vary based off competency / experience

Requirements:

• FRACGP or ACRRM (or equivalent)
