Job summary

DNA Healthcare Recruitment is assisting an Orange, NSW clinic seeking a Skin GP to join a busy skin surgery team. You will manage a patient base, perform skin checks, biopsies, and minor excisions, and provide non-surgical treatments. The clinic offers a strong patient demand and on-site procedure rooms.

Ideal candidates hold FRACGP/ACRM and have experience with skin checks, cryotherapy, and skin cancer management. Flexible 2–5 days per week, with full Australian working rights.

• Ability to commit long-term to the clinic.

Responsibilities

Located in Orange we are currently working with a busy and well-established skin surgery that is seeking a Skin GP to join their team and manage their patient base.

Job Description:

• Conducting Skin Checks: Performing full-body or focused skin examinations using a handheld magnification tool to spot new, changing, or unusual lesions.
• Performing Biopsies & Surgeries: Taking tissue samples for biopsies and performing minor surgical excisions for skin cancers and suspicious moles.
• Non-Surgical Treatments: Administering treatments like cryotherapy (freezing lesions with liquid nitrogen), topical chemotherapy creams, or photodynamic therapy.
• Patient Education: Advising patients on sun protection, self-monitoring, and managing long‑term skin health.
• Referrals & Monitoring: Photographing and monitoring borderline moles over time, or referring complex cases to specialist dermatologists or surgeons.

About the Role / Clinic:

• Average skin doctors bill around $400-$500 per hour
• Skin cancer standard consult pricings start at $130 and increase depending on the length of the appointment
• Procedure prices vary based off competency / experience
• Large patient waitlist
• 2 experienced skin doctors on site
• 1 to 5 days a week available; Monday to Fridays
• Fully equipped procedure rooms for advanced skin surgeries
