Griffin Marine Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for roles across multiple sites in Australia, including Darwin. The position covers installation, maintenance, and fault diagnosis on marine vessels and industrial equipment, with emphasis on safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of fitting experience, a valid White Card, a driver’s license, and the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of fitting experience, preferably in marine or heavy industrial environments.
• Good understanding of Safety and PPE requirements in an industrial environment.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transport.
• OHS Construction Induction White Card.
• Desirable: Confined Space Entry, Fire Safety Training, and Working at Heights certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform fitting duties on marine vessels and industrial equipment, including assembly, installation, and maintenance.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Conduct mechanical repairs and fault finding on various systems.

We have opportunities available in Hope Valley (WA), Sydney (NSW), Darwin (NT), Brisbane and Cairns (QLD).

As a Fitter with Griffin Marine Services, your responsibilities will include:
